About (IISC)
The India International Spirits Competition (IISC) is a professionally judged blind tasting competition dedicated exclusively to spirits, held in Mumbai in October 2026.At IISC, every spirit is assessed through a rigorously controlled blind tasting process led by established professionals from India’s alcobev industry.
The judging panel includes Spirits experts, Educators, Importers, Distributors, On-trade buyers, Retailers and Top Bartenders, ensuring evaluation from multiple trade perspectives.
The competition follows a clearly defined scoring framework assessing the quality of the spirit, its suitability for the Indian market, and its packaging & labelling design.
Designed as a closed-door industry event, IISC recognises spirits that demonstrate technical excellence, category strength, and professional appeal within India’s evolving alcobev landscape.
